Dom's New Build.....
This is another 1 of Dom's long lasting Builds ! He has chose build up and customise a Specilized Demo 8
The picture to your left is the first stage of the build and is when Dom had just bought the frame!
Stage 1.....
Stage 1, Total strip down! The whole frame has been totaly stripped of all it nuts n bolts, all its paint, everything !!!
Stage 2 ......
Stage 2, We start to build it back up here ! The frame has been custom sprayed and has had all new bearing as there is alot of bearings in this frame and a nackered bearing would affect the preformance and feel of the ride !
Bored one day......
When you finish work and nothing else to do what do you do ! You take apart your old bike and try the parts on your new frame just to see what it looks like and what sort of size its going to end up being!
Stickers are on the way
The forks and wheels on the picture above aren't going to be on the final product don't worry !!
The forks that will be going on the frame are Marzocchi 888 ATA WC 2008
They arrived..
After quite a long wait the Specialized stickers finally arrived. They were tricky to get on but after a bit of patiences it all paid off. The photos aren't as good as its look in person !!
We have forks!!
After a long wait to find the right forks and more of a wait to come up with the money we finally have forks. After missing out on 1 pair of forks because Dom waited too long for them to come down in price that they all sold out he finallly got round to it and bought some!!
